Directions There

From Yonge and York Mills...

  1. Take 401 East and exit at Port Union Road. This is at the very east end of Scarborough.
  2. This exit takes you first to Kingston Road. Turn left and stay on Kingston Road. You are going east.
  3. Pass Port Union road, and turn left to Altona Road. You are now in Pickering.
  4. Stay on Altona Road up to the end and turn right.
  5. Drive about a half a kilometer and turn right into a parking lot. The Parking lot is not very visible from the street. The entrance to the parking looks like a driveway.
  6. If you cross a small bridge, you have gone too far.

Here is the trail head, from Google Maps.

We meet at the parking lot at 11:00am. This hike has lots of hills, however, we will maintain a moderate pace. This hike will a bit shorter than previous versions, at around 16km. We will be back at the parking lot at around 4:30pm.
