There are lots of nifty things we can do around Forks of the Credit Park.

Directions

On Saturday night, don't forget to roll back your clocks!

From our meeting point at Yonge and York Mills.

  1. Take Highway 401 west to Highway 410. Stay in the collector lanes. There is no connection to Highway 410 from the express lanes.
  2. Go north on Highway 410. This now curves to the west and it picks up Highway 10.
  3. Continue north on Highway 10.
  4. Travel past Regional Road 9, Caledon Family Restaurant, and Forks of the Credit Road.
  5. Turn left (West) at Escarpment Sideroad. This intersection is hard to see, so pay attention.
  6. Park at the corner of Willoughby Road and Escarpment SideRoad, where the road makes a sweeping right hand turn.

The start time is 11:15am. Here is the start point on Google Maps.

Remarks

We will be hiking from Willowby/Escarpment roads, and keep the hike high, using all the loops at the top of the hills. Maybe we will drop into the valley to check out the falls. The climb back up will be a work-out for all you skiers.
