There are lots of nifty things we can do around Forks of the Credit Park.

Directions

From our meeting point at Yonge and York Mills.

  1. Take Highway 401 west to Highway 410. Stay in the collector lanes. There is no connection to Highway 410 from the express lanes.
  2. Go north on Highway 410. This now curves to the west and it picks up Highway 10.
  3. Continue north on Highway 10.
  4. Travel past Regional Road 9, Caledon Family Restaurant, and Forks of the Credit Road.
  5. Turn left (West) at Escarpment Sideroad. This intersection is hard to see, so pay attention.
  6. Park at the corner of Willoughby Road and Escarpment Side Road, where the road makes a sweeping right hand turn.

The start time is 11:15am. Here is the start point on Google Maps.

If you need an address for your GPS, try 2593 Escarpment Side Road, Caledon. This is a nearby house! Do not park there or enter the driveway. We park at the corner of Escarpment Side Road and Willoughby Road.

Remarks

Parts of the trail are closed, but we will try to hike to the Cataracts Falls and back. Definitely, we will make it back. :)
